Anthony Romeo
Santos was born on July 21, 1981 in The Bronx, New York, United States. His
passion for music began at an early age when he participated in the chorus of l
local church and began to compose his own songs. Always was a fan of bachata,
even though it was not a popular genre.
He was born in a
family of low and working class in which his father was a bricklayer of
Dominican origin and his mother was a housewife who came from Puerto Rico. He
grew up with his sister and her memories were full of Latin culture. With great
effort he managed to approach the world of music and meet its objectives. At 14
he took his first steps to be part of a group called "The Tinellers"
with whom he came to make a record. Gradually he became more known in the
atmosphere until it became the composer and lead singer of the group of bachata
"Adventure", which formed with two of his best friends. Joining them
managed to popularize this pace internationally, bringing some of his songs to
the top of the lists of Latinos rankings and Europe. But while his personal
life was complicated. At age 19 he learned that his girlfriend of the time was
expecting a child. As he was very young, he was carried away by fear and
despair, and decided to end the relationship and not take care of the baby was
